At least one suspect is in custody stemming from the shooting death of a Spartanburg teen found dead behind a Greenville County upholstery business this week.
Devon Javon Curry, 16, was found dead with a gunshot wound to the chest in a gravel parking lot behind a brick building at 900 Easley Bridge Road.
The Travelers Rest Police Department will hold a press conference Thursday to provide details about the case and the arrests, said Travelers Rest Police Chief Ben Ford. Ford said multiple arrests were made.

Jail records show Anthony O’Neal Martin Jr., 17, of Travelers Rest, is charged with murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, conspiracy and discharging a firearm into a dwelling.
Ford confirmed Martin is one of the suspects charged in connection to the shooting death.

Martin was booked into the Greenville County jail Wednesday. A magistrate did not set bond given the high nature of his charges. A Circuit Court judge will determine bond at a later date.
Travelers Rest police had worked a reported shooting at the Brookside Pointe apartment complex in Travelers Rest that same night Curry’s body was found by a passerby, according to the Police Department.
